Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop, document, and maintain incident response plans and playbooks.
- Evaluate and implement security patches, updates, and countermeasures to protect organizational assets.
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA, SOC2, and NIST frameworks.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to design secure network architectures.
- Provide security training and awareness programs for employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of security frameworks, protocols, and best practices.
- Proficiency with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.
