Responsibilities
- Design and implement security controls for equity options trading platforms and market data feeds
- Conduct threat hunting and vulnerability assessments specific to financial systems
- Lead incident response for security breaches affecting trading operations
- Develop security architectures compliant with SEC/NYSE regulations
- Collaborate with trading desks to integrate security into options workflows
- Monitor SIEM alerts for anomalous trading activity and market manipulation
- Create security documentation for financial systems and compliance audits
- Train traders on cybersecurity best practices for options trading
Qualifications
- 5+ years cybersecurity experience with financial services focus
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) required
- Expertise in protecting equity options trading systems and market data
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat detection
- Knowledge of SEC regulations (Regulation SHO, Reg NMS) and financial compliance
- Strong background in network security, encryption, and access control
