Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and investigate potential threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network systems
- Develop and implement incident response plans for security breaches
- Collaborate with IT teams to enforce security policies and compliance standards
- Analyze malware and reverse-engineer cyber threats
- Document security incidents and prepare detailed forensic reports
- Stay updated on emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- 2+ years in security operations, threat intelligence, or incident response
- Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IAM systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
