What You'll Achieve:
- Defend critical equity options trading infrastructure against evolving cyber threats
- Collaborate with quant traders and compliance teams to implement zero-trust architectures
- Shape security strategies for high-frequency trading systems handling $500M+ daily volumes
Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents targeting equity options trading platforms
- Conduct threat hunting and penetration testing on trading applications
- Develop security controls for options pricing engines and order management systems
- Ensure compliance with FINRA/SEC regulations for financial data protection
- Lead incident response for trading system breaches with 15-minute SLAs
- Collaborate with developers to embed security in CI/CD pipelines for trading tools
Qualifications
- 5+ years cybersecurity experience with financial services/equity systems
- Expertise in options trading architecture and market microstructure
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or OSCP with financial sector focus
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms
- Experience securing cloud-native trading environments (AWS/Azure)
- Knowledge of FIX protocol and market data encryption standards
- Ability to operate under pressure during market volatility events
