Responsibilities
- Design and implement security controls for equity options trading systems and related infrastructure
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on financial platforms
- Monitor and respond to sophisticated cyber threats targeting trading environments
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to secure algorithmic trading models
- Develop incident response playbooks for financial system breaches
- Ensure compliance with SEC, FINRA, and PCI-DSS regulations
- Mentor junior security professionals and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in financial services or trading systems
- CISSP, CISM, or OSCP certification required
- Deep expertise in threat intelligence, SIEM, and EDR technologies
- Experience securing high-frequency trading or options platforms
- Strong understanding of network protocols and financial data flows
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and security automation tools
- Knowledge of NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, and financial industry regulations
