Role Overview:
As a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be the guardian of our organization's information security posture. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain security measures that protect our data and systems.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and alerts in real-time using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop, document, and maintain comprehensive security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Investigate and remediate potential threats, malware, and unauthorized access attempts.
- Provide security awareness training and guidance to employees across the organization.
- Stay current with emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to proactively defend our network.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security analysis.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for on-site security assessments.
