Responsibilities
- Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack) to identify potential threats.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal and external networks.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents with minimal downtime.
- Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Develop and maintain documentation for incident response plans and security policies.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security architectures.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation and log analysis.
- Experience with Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
