Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to identify and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Lead and conduct thorough incident response investigations, ensuring rapid containment and recovery.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our network architecture.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards, including NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement security controls into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Conduct security awareness training for staff and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certification: CISSP, CEH, or GCIH is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or threat intelligence.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, Linux, and Windows security.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex security issues to non-technical stakeholders.
