Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity incidents in real-time to ensure system integrity.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential threats before exploitation.
- Implement and manage security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems (IDS).
- Enforce compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and secure network architecture.
- Produce detailed reports on security posture and incident analysis for executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or Network Defense.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, SolarWinds) and incident response workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a 24/7 environment.
- US Citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.
