Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Manage and configure firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Develop and enforce information security policies and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, HIPAA).
- Lead incident response efforts and coordinate with external forensic teams when necessary.
- Collaborate with IT operations to ensure secure network architecture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT audit.
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GIAC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common network protocols.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation tasks.
