Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security events across the enterprise network using SIEM tools to detect and respond to potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct thorough incident investigations and root cause analysis to remediate vulnerabilities and prevent future breaches.
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Prepare and present detailed security reports to stakeholders and executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certification such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH is strongly desired.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or incident response.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and common attack vectors.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) is a major plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
