Responsibilities
- Lead threat detection and incident response operations using SIEM platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-prem systems
- Develop and implement security controls aligned with NIST/CIS frameworks
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across enterprise environments
- Document security procedures and conduct employee awareness training
- Stay current with emerging threats and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in threat detection/response
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security and network protocols
- Experience with Splunk, Palo Alto, or CrowdStrike technologies
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven ability to communicate complex security concepts to stakeholders
