Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to sophisticated cyber threats using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response investigations including malware analysis and digital forensics
- Develop and maintain security playbooks for MITRE ATT&CK framework compliance
- Collaborate with red/blue teams to enhance threat hunting capabilities
- Generate executive-level threat intelligence reports and remediation recommendations
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-premise systems
- Mentor junior analysts and drive security awareness initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in SOC operations or threat analysis
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification
- Expertise in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Hands-on experience with EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne)
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR)
- Proficiency in Python/PowerShell for automation scripting
