Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across enterprise environments
- Develop and implement security controls to mitigate emerging cyber threats
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards
- Document security procedures and create executive-level threat intelligence reports
- Mentor junior analysts and lead incident response drills
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SIEM implementation
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ (CISSP preferred)
- Proficiency in threat intelligence platforms (e.g., Recorded Future, CrowdStrike)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network segmentation
- Strong analytical skills with ability to correlate complex security data
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
