Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) for threat detection and incident response coordination
- Conduct vulnerability assessments using Nessus and Qualys tools
- Analyze network traffic with Wireshark and NetFlow for anomalous activity
- Develop playbooks for incident response and disaster recovery scenarios
- Collaborate with red team members on penetration testing initiatives
- Generate executive-level security dashboards and compliance reports
- Maintain NIST 800-53 and ISO 27001 security framework adherence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity or IT with 3+ years SOC experience
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA CySA+ certification
- Proficiency in SIEM implementation and threat hunting methodologies
- Experience with Windows/Linux forensics tools (EnCase, FTK)
- Knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architectures
- Strong scripting abilities (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain government clearance
