Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to sophisticated cyber threats using SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct forensic investigations and incident response coordination for security breaches
- Develop and maintain robust security policies, procedures, and playbooks
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement network security controls and hardening measures
- Generate comprehensive security assessments and executive-level threat intelligence reports
- Lead vulnerability management programs including penetration testing coordination
- Stay current with emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities through continuous research
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with SOC operations
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required (GIAC preferred)
- Expertise in threat detection tools (CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks)
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and CIS controls
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network architecture
- Proven incident response and digital forensics capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
