Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response coordination for security breaches and cyberattacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on network infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, policies, procedures)
- Collaborate with IT teams on secure architecture implementations
- Generate executive-level security reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Manage security tool integrations and automation workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in SOC operations or incident response
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ required; GIAC preferred
- Expertise in threat detection tools (EDR, NDR, firewalls)
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and container technologies
- Excellent analytical and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
