Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection protocols across cloud/on-premise infrastructures
- Lead incident response operations for critical security breaches, including forensic analysis and containment
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for enterprise systems
- Develop security automation using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and orchestration platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into DevOps pipelines
- Maintain compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC 2)
- Mentor junior analysts and drive security awareness initiatives across the organization
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in threat detection/incident response roles
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC Security Expert (GSE)
- Expertise in SIEM implementation, network security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and security automation tools
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance in financial/healthcare sectors
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to document complex security procedures
