Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across enterprise systems
- Develop and implement security automation scripts to enhance threat detection capabilities
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards
- Analyze network traffic and logs to identify anomalous activity and potential breaches
- Create detailed incident response reports and executive security summaries
- Lead security awareness training sessions for employees
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and network security protocols
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and container technologies
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (e.g., Recorded Future, CrowdStrike)
- Ability to work under pressure during critical security incidents
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
