Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts, SIEM logs, and network traffic to detect and respond to cyber threats
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Incident response coordination including threat containment, eradication, and recovery
- Develop and maintain security documentation including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and best practices
- Analyze malware and advanced persistent threats using forensic tools
- Generate executive security reports and KPI dashboards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or related IT security roles
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and zero-trust architectures
- Experience with threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, STIX)
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
