Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection mechanisms using SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec)
- Lead incident response investigations for ransomware, APTs, and zero-day exploits
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-prem systems
- Develop security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Maintain NIST and ISO 27001 compliance frameworks
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior analysts and document security protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in incident response
- CISSP, CEH, or GCIH certification required
- Expertise in network security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Proficiency in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP security services)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike, Recorded Future)
- Strong understanding of Windows/Linux environments
- Ability to handle high-pressure security incidents
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
