Responsibilities
- Conduct 24/7 security monitoring and incident response for enterprise environments
- Analyze and correlate security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec)
- Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on critical infrastructure
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement cloud security controls (AWS/Azure)
- Create executive-level threat intelligence reports and mitigation strategies
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations, threat detection, or incident response
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required (CompTIA Security+ acceptable)
- Expert knowledge of NIST frameworks, CIS Controls, and ISO 27001 standards
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewall, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization technologies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to document complex security scenarios
