Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Collaborate with IT teams to harden network infrastructure
- Generate executive-level security reports and threat intelligence briefings
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in enterprise environments
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure) and zero-trust architecture
- Experience with threat hunting and malware analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
