Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts for threat intelligence integration
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement NIST 800-53 compliance frameworks
- Lead incident response drills and forensic investigations
- Produce executive-level security dashboards and risk mitigation reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity/IT or equivalent experience (MS preferred)
- 5+ years in security operations with hands-on incident response
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certifications required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and Palo Alto Networks
- Proficient in Python, PowerShell, and SQL for automation
- Experience with GDPR/HIPAA compliance frameworks
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
