Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response for cyber threats including ransomware and APT attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of enterprise systems
- Develop and implement security controls for cloud (AWS/Azure) and hybrid environments
- Collaborate with IT teams to enhance security architecture and compliance
- Document security incidents and provide executive-level reporting
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on incident response experience
- CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with cloud security frameworks (CIS AWS/Azure Benchmarks)
- Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA compliance standards
- Ability to work rotating on-call shifts during critical incidents
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
