Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM and EDR platforms
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches and cyberattacks
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on cloud/on-prem infrastructure
- Develop security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Mentor junior analysts and drive security awareness initiatives
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in hands-on security operations
- CISSP, CEH, or OSCP certification required (CompTIA Security+ acceptable)
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and cloud security architecture
- Proficient in Splunk, CrowdStrike, or similar security platforms
- Experience with NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
