What You Will Do:
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses.
- Manage and configure firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and VPNs.
- Lead incident response efforts, including forensic analysis and root cause determination.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.
- Develop and maintain security documentation and playbooks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 3-5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common attack vectors.
- Proficiency in security tools like Splunk, Snort, or Snort2.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
