Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct incident response and forensic investigations
- Implement and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint protection
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security policies and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Document security procedures and create executive reports
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity roles (SOC, incident response, or security engineering)
- Certifications required: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in threat detection tools (CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP security services)
- Strong understanding of network protocols and infrastructure
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Active TS/SCI clearance preferred
