Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to detect and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Conduct rigorous penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on internal and external networks.
- Lead incident response efforts during security breaches, coordinating with legal and executive teams.
- Design and implement robust firewalls, IDS/IPS, and access control policies to enforce compliance.
- Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats and industry trends to recommend proactive security measures.
- Develop and maintain detailed security documentation and disaster recovery plans.
Qualifications
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or penetration testing.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Proficiency in security tools such as Nmap, Metasploit, and Wireshark.
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks and regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
