Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) to detect sophisticated threats
- Lead incident response coordination, including forensic investigation and containment of breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid cloud environments
- Develop and implement advanced security policies, procedures, and playbooks
- Mentor junior analysts and optimize SOC workflows using automation tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in threat detection, incident response, or security operations
- Active CISSP, CEH, or CISM certification (required) with SANS/GSEC preferred
- Expertise in SIEM tools, EDR solutions (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne), and network security
- Proven experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Strong analytical skills with ability to correlate complex security data
- Experience building security automation scripts using Python or PowerShell
