Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM systems (Splunk, Sentinel) to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Lead the incident response process for security breaches, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Manage and configure firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems to secure network perimeters.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to ensure compliance with standards (ISO 27001, SOC2).
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices across all software and hardware.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including security policies, procedures, and runbooks.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network security.
- Active CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification is required.
- Strong proficiency in log analysis and threat hunting using tools like Splunk, ELK Stack, or similar SIEM platforms.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and common network protocols.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and identity management protocols (IAM).
- Excellent communication skills to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
