Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level security architectures using AWS/Azure cloud platforms
- Lead incident response for complex cyber attacks, including ransomware and APTs
- Conduct proactive threat hunting using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Develop security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Mentor junior analysts and document security procedures
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in threat detection/response
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC Security Expert (GSE)
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network protocols
- Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, and IDS/IPS solutions
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and compliance standards
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Ability to lead high-pressure incident response scenarios
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
