Responsibilities
- Lead incident response for advanced persistent threats (APTs) using SIEM platforms (Splunk/Symantec)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for financial sector clients
- Develop zero-trust architecture frameworks and implement NIST 800-171 compliance
- Mentor junior analysts and optimize SOC workflows through automation (Python/Ansible)
- Collaborate with CISOs to design cloud security strategies for AWS/Azure environments
- Present threat intelligence briefings to executive stakeholders quarterly
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in financial services or healthcare
- Active CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in threat hunting with MITRE ATT&CK framework implementation
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks and CrowdStrike solutions
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) for automation tasks
- Ability to obtain Do Secret clearance within 30 days
