Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM, EDR, and NDR technologies
- Lead incident response for security breaches, including forensic analysis and containment
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise environments
- Develop comprehensive security documentation including playbooks and compliance reports
- Mentor junior analysts through hands-on training and knowledge sharing sessions
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor emerging threats and recommend proactive security measures
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in threat detection/response
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required (GIAC preferred)
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security architecture and cloud-native tools
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Experience with MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat hunting methodologies
- Strong knowledge of NIST frameworks and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts to stakeholders
