Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and alerts using SIEM tools like Splunk and QRadar.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Design and implement robust security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Lead incident response investigations, ensuring rapid containment and recovery from cyber threats.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information assurance.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM are highly required.
- Strong technical knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, and operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix).
- Proven experience with SIEM platforms, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and threat intelligence.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on high availability and zero-trust architecture.
