Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM tools and analyze security alerts for potential threats
- Lead incident response investigations and remediation activities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security documentation including playbooks and policies
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls
- Stay current on emerging threats and industry best practices
- Present security findings to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with SOC operations
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, or GIAC preferred)
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and cloud environments
- Experience with threat intelligence frameworks and MITRE ATT&CK
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure during security incidents
