Responsibilities
- Lead incident response for security breaches, including threat hunting and forensic analysis
- Implement and manage advanced SIEM solutions (Splunk, QRadar) for real-time threat detection
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across enterprise systems
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts using Python or PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Provide executive-level security briefings and risk mitigation strategies
- Stay current with emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years experience in enterprise cybersecurity roles
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC (e.g., GCIH, GCFA)
- Expertise in threat intelligence frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, STIX)
- Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and IaaS/PaaS environments
- Proficiency in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF)
- Experience with security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) platforms
- Ability to work under pressure during critical security incidents
