As the guardian of our network, you will play a pivotal role in defending against evolving cyber threats and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain a robust Enterprise Security Architecture to safeguard sensitive data.
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security weaknesses before malicious actors do.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches, ensuring rapid containment and recovery.
- Monitor security systems and SOC (Security Operations Center) alerts to detect and neutralize threats in real-time.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Provide regular security training and awareness programs for employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or similar advanced certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information assurance.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and firewall management.
- Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and federal compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for on-site security assessments as required.
