Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) to detect anomalous activities
- Lead incident response procedures, including forensic investigation and containment of breaches
- Develop and implement zero-trust security architectures for cloud/on-prem environments
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Create executive-level security reports and compliance documentation (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Train junior staff on emerging threats and defensive strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise security operations
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification (or equivalent)
- Expertise in threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, CrowdStrike)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA)
- Proven ability to document complex security procedures in clear, actionable plans
