Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for threat detection and incident response
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and incident response plans
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls across cloud and on-premise environments
- Analyze security alerts using forensic tools to determine root causes and impact
- Prepare comprehensive security reports for leadership and regulatory compliance
- Lead incident response activities during security breaches and cyberattacks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or SOC operations
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, Security+, CompTIA Security+)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Experience with incident response frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure during security incidents
