Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) to detect advanced threats
- Lead incident response procedures for security breaches including containment, eradication, and recovery
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across complex network environments
- Develop and implement security controls aligned with NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks
- Collaborate with engineering teams to harden cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and DevSecOps pipelines
- Produce executive-level security reports and remediation roadmaps for CISO stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in hands-on analyst roles
- CISSP, CEH, or GIAC certification (GCIH, GCFA preferred)
- Expertise in threat hunting, malware analysis, and IDS/IPS tuning
- Proficient in Python/PowerShell for automation and threat detection
- Experience with zero-trust architecture implementation
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
