We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite team in Buffalo, NY. Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic and systems for suspicious activity using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses.
- Respond to and investigate security incidents, including malware, ransomware, and phishing attacks.
- Manage firewall configurations and intrusion detection systems (IDS) to maintain network integrity.
- Ensure strict compliance with relevant regulations such as HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and training materials for staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Experience with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Knowledge of endpoint protection and threat intelligence platforms.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and security architecture.
- CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification is highly preferred.
