Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response protocols for malware, phishing, and DDoS attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and maintain security documentation (playbooks, policies)
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement zero-trust architectures
- Generate executive security reports with actionable insights
- Manage third-party vendor security compliance
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with SOC analyst experience
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Proficiency in threat intelligence platforms (AlienVault, Recorded Future)
- Experience with NIST frameworks and ISO 27001 standards
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Ability to work rotating shifts (24/7 SOC coverage)
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
