Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to identify and remediate security gaps.
- Manage and enforce compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, and recovery from cyber security breaches.
- Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to design and implement secure network architectures.
- Develop and update security policies, procedures, and training programs for employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly required.
- Minimum of 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network defense, or security engineering.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Strong experience with identity and access management (IAM) protocols.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
