Responsibilities
- Threat Detection & Monitoring: Monitor 24/7 security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to identify and mitigate potential threats in real-time.
- Incident Response: Lead and coordinate the investigation and remediation of security breaches, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses and recommend patches.
- Security Architecture: Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of security controls, firewalls, and encryption protocols.
- Compliance & Auditing: Ensure adherence to industry standards such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001 through rigorous audits and reporting.
- Security Awareness Training: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on security best practices and phishing awareness.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certifications: Active CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related technical role.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, Firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto), and endpoint protection (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- License: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for on-site security assessments.
