Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection protocols using SIEM platforms
- Lead incident response coordination for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on cloud/on-premise systems
- Develop security automation scripts using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Generate executive-level security risk reports and mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with proven threat detection experience
- Industry certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and network protocols
- Strong analytical skills with experience in forensic investigation
- Proficiency in security tools: Splunk, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks
