Responsibilities
- Lead the investigation and remediation of security incidents and vulnerabilities within the network infrastructure.
- Design, implement, and manage Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions to monitor and analyze system traffic.
- Conduct regular penetration testing and risk assessments to identify potential weaknesses before they are exploited.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and ensure compliance with NIST, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS frameworks.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Provide security awareness training to employees to foster a culture of vigilance.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation and threat hunting.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
