Responsibilities
- Architect and implement enterprise-grade security controls for AWS cloud infrastructure
- Lead incident response operations for sophisticated cyber threats
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and vulnerability assessments
- Develop security automation solutions using AWS Security Services
- Maintain compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS)
- Mentor junior security professionals and conduct security awareness training
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security in SDLC processes
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, or GIAC Security Expert preferred
- Expertise in threat detection, incident response, and penetration testing
- Strong programming skills (Python, Go, or Java) for security automation
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Deep understanding of NIST CSF and cloud security best practices
- Ability to obtain AWS Security Specialty certification within 6 months
