Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing support, and security audits to identify potential risks.
- Manage the incident response lifecycle, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Ensure strict compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP standards.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement robust security policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certification preferred: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or network security.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, and secure network architecture.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
