Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents within the SIEM environment (Splunk, Sentinel, etc.) in real-time.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Design and implement robust security controls for on-premise and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies and enforce Zero Trust principles.
- Lead post-incident analysis and root-cause investigations to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure strict compliance with internal policies, industry regulations (SOC2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS), and data privacy laws.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity operations, SOC, or a related role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network security protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) for automation tasks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
